The Medical Academic Center (MAC) opened in September 2011. We are located in Carmel, IN; a convenient, travel-friendly location for regional, national and international visitors to the Midwest. The facility is designed to: plan and customize learning solutions for the healthcare industry and related professions, host medical education programs for healthcare providers, facilitate cadaveric education in a state-of-the-art bio-skills laboratory and provide community enrichment activities through educational outreach. The Medical Academic Center is your go to for all your medical education and conference needs.
Sandra is the director of the Medical Academic Center. She received her Master of Arts in management from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, and received her Bachelor of Science in health education and biology from Bemidji State University, Bemidji, MN. She has dedicated her career to health education. Sandra has two sons and in her spare time enjoys the outdoors, running, biking, traveling, photography and baking.
Office Support Staff
Raika joined the Medical Academic Center staff in April 2018. She is obedience trained, most of the time. Her responsibilities include: providing security and creating smiles and a relaxed atmosphere for our customers. Although she may not be around for each event, as she’s pretty choosy, she’s always here in spirit. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, the outdoors, digging up her owners yard, playing one-way fetch and spending time with her family.
